The MACUCC Task Force to End Homelessness,
chaired by Rev. Dr. Fran Bogle-Chair, MBA Just Peace Coordinator, responds to current events,
develops resources for churches and does action and advocacy within our communities at the State House and with the Congress.
We laugh, cry and pray together as we work for justice for some of God’s forgotten beloved.

Task Force activities with local churches include:
Creating and distributing resources for local churches
Leading workshops at the Annual Meeting and Association meetings
Developing and distributing bible study and worship resources
Organizing a UCC presence at Lobby Days at the State House
Mobilizing post card, letter and telephone campaigns when critical votes are coming up in the Legislature and the Congress
Visiting local churches to meet with pastors and Mission and Outreach committees
Maintaining an Action Alert Mailing list and web page at MACUCC.org
Phone consultations about programs local churches can do to end homelessness
Referring individuals seeking volunteer opportunities to programs in their areas

We meet once a month on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the MACUCC Conference Center in Framingham. If you can’t make a monthly meeting consider becoming a liaison for the Task Force in your association.
